Live and Work in US... for a year!

One of the things that excite us at Edu-Connect is seeing opportunities and chasing after them at Usain-Bolt-speed! 


We hope you have a similar approach to opportunities because this project is about helping those who have the WILL and just need to find a WAY!


So when we came across the Atlas Corps Call for Applications we started thinking of our running shoes because this is one of those opportunities one should sprint after (break-neck speed usually works well in such instances!).

Briefly: Atlas Corps is an overseas fellowship for the world's best nonprofit leaders. Its mission is to address critical social issues by developing leaders, strengthening organizations, and promoting innovation through an overseas fellowship of skilled nonprofit professionals. It is a 12-18 month professional fellowship offered three times a year.


Just so you know it can be done; there are three Zimbabweans from Harare who got into the 2010 cluster (this is a big deal because it meant Zim had the highest representation in that year). In 2011, one Zimbabwean got accepted but in terms of representation the Nigerians came out in full force!


Well, here's a chance to APPLY! for the opportunity of living and working in the US for a year. Take a break from routine, acquire new skills, have an adventure and explore life on the other end of the hemisphere!
